The bit on your lil talk with the 'sales guy' made me laugh. We were at the Dominican while I was pregnant last year and I felt trapped too... while I know I would NOT have felt that way had I NOT been pregnant. However, I wasn't on the floor playing legos. Instead I missed the Dolphin show (WAH) at the Ocean World we were at when lured into going to this 'presentation' we were not warned about. Sigh. Good for you getting that $100 and not giving in to that guy! And I'd have loved to hear your little speach (grin).

Confession: A few weeks ago, a friend (who had spent over 10 years in Hawaii) made fresh ahi poki and lomi lomi salmon. (Glancing uneasily from side to side) I couldn't help myself... I ate raw fish!

I've sat thru those nightmare salespitches too. I won't do that again. We seriously considered doing the time share thing, but right after we went to the presentation the economy started to tank and I'm so glad we didn't. That food looks great. I haven't acquired the taste for sushi yet. Hubs loves it. That sunset picture - amazing.

I can't tell you how much I enjoy your posts! Honestly, there are some posts that are just as long as yours, but I give up halfway. Yours are always so interesting, and I feel like I'm right there with you!!!

I don't know how I missed it when you posted it, but I just read about losing the camera. I would have been devastated too. When we were in Ireland this summer, one of the guys on our tour dropped his camera from the top of Blarney Castle. He found it but it was smashed. Luckily the card was ok. Anyway, it sounds like you had a great time in Hawaii and I love that you took the kids to the Japanese restaurant.

Okay so it is 8 in the morning and I am craving a Bento Box! We have a little place near here that has Lunch Bento Boxes so that is where I will go with Native Two today! We were banned from coming back to Massanutten Resort in Virginia because we cut off the 90 minute tour at 2 hours and hadn't seen the rooms they were trying to sell. Erin was only a year old and getting very restless. The guy was annoyed, but we got our free stuff!

Almost every time we have a discussion about where to go for dinner, my kids say they want to go to the Japanese steakhouse. They really like sitting around the grill.
