Sounds as if May is "Good Food Month"! That was one of the best parts of being pregnant... eating whatever you want and as much of it as you want! You are truly blessed with a wonderful family... the love is obvious:)

I'm so glad Big S had a fun birthday celebration with you and the kiddos at Legoland. That Mother's day breakfast looked amazing, and all that talk about Mexican food (whether it be North or South) has me hungry. There's a Cuban black bean recipe I just bought ingredients for yesterday that I know feel the need to make after all this talk about food. Don't worry if it really winds up being good, I'll add it to my recipe blog next week ;). Miss you bunches! Oh yeah and you better share Rachel's muffin recipe with us - it sounds delish!

1. carne asada
2. pollo asado (In GA they only just learned about #1. NO clue about #2.)
3. guacamole - Now my hub makes GREAT guac. But restaurants? Not so much.
4. In N Out - Ohhhhh. Double Double... And the FRIES.
5. Hello, the OCEAN?
6. Legoland. True, it was built AFTER we left. But my son has loved Legos since birth.

Ok. I'm winded just reading all this. What a sweet hubby to want to spend his birthday at LegoLand. Love that place.

Oh my goodness. I truly was laughing (read: hacking b/c of chest cold) as I read. Oh, how funny. I bet pregnancy brain had NOTHING to do with it at all, right?!

wink wink I am thrilled that Big S still loves those muffins. And I'd like to thank Kemi and Doug for vacationing at a B&B in New England and loving them so much they asked for me to find the recipe. Whew.

Now, I need to go work out b/c I ate 1/2 a cup of chocolate chips reading your post. I had to feel a part of the action you know!!

Wow, what a weekend!! I'm hungry after all your descriptions of the food. LOL. We had fun at Legoland a couple of years ago when we took one of my grandsons and my granddaughter. They loved the boats where people shoot water at you. I am not a rollercoaster person but loved the ones there because they are so "mild".

Sounds like you had a fab weekend! Mother's day was awesome for me this year too, seeing as it was my first... and our anniversary! Hubs treated me so well. We went to the zoo with my family, and it was fun! I love animals!

That food sounds sooo good! And the view from your hubby's work... wow!

Love the breakfast you got, and the story about the muffins... while I was pregnant I forgot baking powder in my banana chocolate chip muffins and they turned out FLAT! Hubby still loved them though. That's how you know a man loves you, right? :)
